Radiology

Digital radiology has replaced the traditional x-ray film in much the same way the digital camera has replaced traditional camera films.  Using this technology, we are able to view images instantly and adjust them for better quality.  It also allows us to save them onto a disc, or send them digitally, if necessary, to a board-certified radiologist or specialist for review.  The images taken in our radiology department are reviewed by the doctor, and then transferred to a laptop so the images can be viewed and discussed in a room with you.

Radiographic imaging allows us to visualize internal health issues such as broken bones and skeletal/joint issues, gastrointestinal blockages, bladder stones, and many other anomalies.
